2019 Programs
Teen Herbal & Earth Skills Immersion Program
This program is happening in partnership with The Hawthorn School of Plant Medicine. Both instructors for this program have completed the herbal apprenticeship, and continue to study herbalism and clinical skills. Additionally, Kendra and Sarah both are continuing students of earth-based ancestral skills including basketry, cordage, hide tanning, fishing, hunting and fire tending.
Our teen program instructors value the importance of connection, relationship, body image, identity and other issues facing youth today. They seek to provide a welcoming space to explore, nourish, play and connect through engaging understanding of ecosystems around us.
We are currently exploring field trip potentials as a part of this program. Pick-up and drop off will take place at Gwinwood Camp. Program is from 9 am - 3pm.
